Philosophy of Funding
Our philosophy of funding is simply to pray for the Lord to meet our needs and let those needs be known. We appreciate all consideration for support but we do not include solicitation envelopes in Newsletters or actively request funds if it would cause pressure on churches or individuals. Our attention is focused on the ministry and we leave the fundraising to the Lord. If you sense the Lord is directing you to share in this ministry, you may mail checks to On Board Ministry at 701 Martha Ct., Keller, Texas 76248. We rejoice in the fact that those who pray for us or make financial contributions have an equal and worthy reward as though they stood alongside us on the field (Matt. 10:41; I Cor. 3:8; Col. 3:23-24).
The ministry continues to develop in ways we never expected. As a result, the leadership in Kenya have many more responsibilities. We have a headquarters in Mombasa, Kenya, and a van for transportation. The expenses of these are mostly met but there are individuals who desperately need support for the activities they accomplish for OBM. Both the Director and Secretary spend a lot of time promoting OBM and carrying out the duties of administration involving churches, conferences, curriculum etc. These require travel, meals, lodging, photocopying, phone calls, van maintanence, and other things that incur expense. I ask that you prayerfully consider supporting these 2 men who are vital to the ministry across Africa. The need is actually quite minimal but the necessity is critical.
